Can i overclock this or turboboost this?

Go to solution Solved by SAV1OUR,

i had my 3570k at 4.3ghz with stock cooler for more than 6 months temps stayed under 90c. I5 750 is the one of the last cpu's to have FSB overclock so multiplier doesnt matter and its not "locked" you can select multiplier but it is limited ALSO this cpu was overclocked more than 4ghz regulary.. (here for example.)

alright you can OC on stock but in no way is it advisable

I want to increase the clock on my cpu and i was wondering i can do it whis hardware

and if my cooler could handel it

I don't believe they were using the 'k' naming scheme with this series of CPUs

im not sure on how much but i know the non K series cant go passed 4.2 and i wouldnt even take the chance because your using the stock cooler in no way is it smart to OC on stock
