Xlr to usb cable.

I'm about to buy a mic with xlr output, and im wondering if a xlr to usb cable would provide the 48v power the mic needs. Im thinking of buying this cable:

No they just don't work well at all. You will be annoyed at your self for wasting your money if you get those cable things.

if you have a mic that requires 48V phantom power then you need a preamp/interface that can provide this much power. 

This audio interface can provide it  + its much cheaper https://www.amazon.de/Focusrite-Scarlett-2i2-Audio-Interface/dp/B07QR73T66
it also has a usb interface wich connects directly to your computer

i would suggest that u also buy an usb extension cable because the included one is quite short

The price is in Norwegian Krone which is about 10 Krone to the Euro. So that 177 Krone item is 15 Euros. and that Focusrtie would be over 1000 Krone

Please for the love of God do not buy one of those cables. Listen to Ahoy, they are providing good advice.
