So I've just built my PC and just updated it the "don't turn off your PC. This will take a while." And it been stuck on 92% for an hour and would like to know if everything is alright.

Okay, well never had that specific issue but once it finished I had black screen afterwards just no screen, video input was active but yeah. It really shouldn't be taking that long especially since you haven't hit desktop yet.

 

I would do another clean installation.

You know how to wipe the drive partition during installation right? Also here is how to do (unless you have specific way yourself) not trying to tell you what to do or degrade your intelligence if it comes off that way, I apologize.

 

How I do it: Do a new clean install of windows and do not connect to internet during installation, disable all "spyware" if you want some of them for your use then go ahead enable some, then connect to the internet via Ethernet cable or WiFi and got updates and wait for all updates for windows to finish downloading before you restart or touch any applications or files till all updates are finished and none are left.
