Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Design work must run R6S +60fps decent quality 

Other details: I’m a bit out of date and  I know nothing basically other than thinking GTX 1080 or better. Preferably white with RGB. Wanting to be able to change it up as the mood takes me

wait for the 3080 too come in stock. This doesn't have RGB, but it is build around the white aesthetic. You can add custom white PSU cables

Thank you. Would you say there’s a comparable intel cpu? Don’t really know anything about AMD only ever had intel and Nvidia in my prebuilts

The 10600k, although you need a much more expansive motherboard, and cooler, and it performs a bit worse. I think the 5600x is the move atm

Where I reside 10700k is cheaper than 5600x and although requires a bit more expensive mobo, has two cores/four threads more. Intel has gotten quite affordable.

Fair point, it’s more personal preference at this point. Both are good options, although if you are playing esports titles go with the 5600x
