Laptop Cooling Maintenance

Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

You can use a can of compressed air to blow any dust out without opening the laptop.

Do you need to periodically clean the fans on a laptop? I don't know if I am hallucinating or not, but I feel like they run louder nowadays versus when I got the laptop. Any advice?

if you feel like it you can just open it up. make sure its off and youre grounded, if you can remove the battery, remove it. send a pic of the ventilation holes before though.

Yeah, I do not really want to open it up. I will try that. Thank you.
