hi thanks for the reply : )

im looking for a light overclock, with low to no risici.
Cpu to about 5.1GHz
and ram boosted to something higher than 2133MHz

maybe some bios recommandations

windows 10 setting recommendations

pc used most for fps games and games like assassins creed

I'd follow this guide: https://www.overclockers.com/how-to-overclock-the-i9-10900k-a-guide-for-taming-the-beast/

Jump to the Intel XTU section of the guide. I'd try to hit 5.2 for a light OC. It looks like their chip hit 5.3 and was stable.

Hi:

I am seeking help to optimize my system. (Soft overclocking) - (not heavy overclocking)

(Hopefully 3080TI soon)
RAM: G.SKILL tridentZ Royal DDR4-4600 CL18-22-22-42 1.45v (4x8gb) (locked at 2133MHz) (would like to boost the ram)

PSU: ASUS Thor 1200p (1200W)

CPU cooler: (custom) water route = from Hydrop x - XD5 to Top: 1 x 420mm with push 3 x corsair QL140 fans to Front: 2 x corsair XR7 480mm with push/pull - 16 x corsair QL120 fans back to Hydrop x - XD5 (CPU temp 24celcius idle / 31celcius under cinebench)

You need help overclocking? Or, do you want to change parts? "Optimize" is a bit vague.

This will most likely not effect anything in games. You can try, but first please tell what are your current settings, resolution and fps you are getting. Most games are more GPU bound, and overclocking doesn't usually visible improve fps.

Enable XMP from BIOS.

Apart from enabling XMP, you shouldn't need to do anything. There are things like disabling C-state and stuff like that which is done with OC procedures, but not really anything else. With Asus board you have option to use Multi-Core Enchantment instead, which is kinda like auto-OC. Beware that this will effect your temps since CPU will be drawing more voltage.

There isn't anything in Windows. You have beefy system. OS tweaking is for systems where OS itself can cause spikes to CPU and RAM usage. Seeing such spikes you would need to have 4gb of RAM and 10 year old CPU (or 2 core Atom etc.).
