Weird colours/fading on tv

So I'm getting strange colours on my tv, I've changed hdmi cables, ports and the usual but this seems to happen randomly.

This is what it looks like but as when I unplug the hdmi and put it back in things go back to normal

It's strangle because this can happen so gradually that I dont pick up on it until the pink outline appears but this time it happened at start up.

Year old but only have problems with the pc

Check the cable, as strange as that sounds sometimes wiggling it a bit can help.

 

a different cable if you have one, try different gpu outputs, a different gpu in that pc (if possible), see if there is any dirt or fluff in the hdmi cable or hdmi sockets on the monitor and gpu that might cause a bad connection (be very careful cleaning these if you attempt it).
