Windows not detecting hard drives

I just reinstalled windows on one of my systems and two of my drives are not show up any more. All drives are detected in the BOIS and device manager however they do not show up anywhere else. The two drives in question are 2TB Toshiba drives that were previously striped together in a Windows storage space. The drives were tested on my other system with the same results and yes all drivers are up to date on both systems.

RUn get-physicaldisk in powershell. Might have to run clean disk to remove the hidden flag on those drives.

When I have a problem such as you describe I refer to the AOMEI Partition Assistant.  It is a great piece of software.  It works great and is easy to understand.  Might want to give it a shot and see if it helps locate your missing drives.  Good Luck.  Oops, forgot, it's FREE.

well its seems like a step in the right direction, Windows is still trying to pool the drives together even though no pool exist. now I just need to make windows stop trying to do it, I hope

Try running reset-physicaldisk with the -friendyname paramater and it should work normally.
