HyperX

JudeVR

My friend asked me if hyperX is a good peripherals brand since he plans on building a PC soon but I have never used hyperX so I figured I would ask here do you guys recommend HyperX?

Question is too broad. As with any company, HyperX make some excellent stuff but also some utter crap.

For now, HyperX is owned by Kingston so most of what they produce is reasonable quality, but it would help if you can tell us what you are thinking of buying exactly.

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

They are alright in my experience. The Cloud headsets are a bit better than the average gaming headset, the mice and keyboards aren't much special though.

Of course we should now really be calling them HP HyperX 👀
