Should I upgrade my BIOS/How to?

I just got a 5600X and an Asus TUF B550 plus, which said it might need a BIOS update for something. I've got Win10 installed and it all seems to work fine, so I don't know if I need to. I never did for my last motherboard because everything worked, but Ryzen chips have been having a lot of changes in the BIOS.

If it works, leave it.

I figured out I have version 1202, and the newer versions claim

  • Update AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.1.0.0 Patch C
  • Support AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.1.0.0 Patch C
  • New CPU support
  • Update AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.1.9.0
  • Update AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.0

And a raid driver, but I don't raid. I don't really know what those are or what they do.
