Help me choose a home theater receiver

Hello everyone! I can't choose a receiver for my system, I use 7.1 acoustics, I have a Marantz amplifier, I thought about taking a Marantz receiver too, but it's too expensive, I'm not sure if I want to spend so much money, https://downhomedigital.net/receivers/av-receiver-under-500/ they recommend Denon, and not only they. What do you say for this brand? Are they good to use or is it worth taking popular brands

denon is just under marantz. also both are companies under "sound united" both are pretty similar also in features and such

From an objective point of view, the Denon is about the best thing on the market, in many cases performing better than the Marantz. I still am of the belief that the best AVRs still suck, but there isn't much you can do about it if you don't want to end up with an entire rack worth of equipment.
