snapdragon 732G ?

thats roughly $50 more than v50, how could it be better?

What are you doing on the phone? Yeah the 855 is 40% better but who cares. For generic use there is not difference. The poco has over double the battery life of the v50 too.

Family member got a Pixel 4a and I was super impressed with it, especially for it's ~$350 price tag. If I had to replace my 6T today I'd likely go with that.

Unless you're doing heavy mobile gaming (or an equivalent heavy work load) you do NOT need anything close to the top-tier Snapdragon processors.

Yes. Efficiency gains in more modern hardware trumps raw horsepower of yesteryear, and we've gotten to the point where unless you're some hardcore multitasker or gamer, most people do not require what the latest Snapdragons are offering. Waiting an extra millisecond for something to load won't hurt you.

As @v0idstated the efficiency gains made in the newer generations are far more valuable then raw computer power, especially when talking about mobile devices.

I'd take a more efficient mid-range chip over a last-gen top-tier every time.
