After i took out and put back in the RAM, My dell pc power button blinks yellow when i connect it.

ram is not seated correctly or you broke something? It is not that hard to break something on the ram or the motherboard since they do not have a heatsink. but unlikely.

they have to be seated wrong. also cmos reset can help

What should i do? The fans are running but the display is still black.

You should probably consult the manual, manufacturers page, the dell forums (with the specific model of pc you have) or google, rather than us. We *might* be able to help, but those are probably faster, and more sure methods of getting help.

Your RAM is probably not seated correctly.

 

Make sure it CLICKS into place.

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.
