RTX 3070/3080 cards compatible with Aurora R10?

blazesword2008

Hello, I was wondering if the RTX 3070 / 3080 is compatible with the Aurora R10 gaming desktop computer, as I want to upgrade to it later in the future.

Here are my specs:

Ryzen 7 3700x 8-core processor

16 GB Dual Channel HyperX Fury DDR4 Ram

Alienware/Dell 0NWN7M A00 Motherboard

Radeon RX 5700 XT

550W Power Supply (I know I will have to upgrade this, if possible please recommend something that would be good for a graphics card such as this)

'Lunar Light' case

My computer is water cooled if that means anything.

I will look forward to hearing from you guys soon. Thanks! 🙂

As long as the GPU would physically fit in the case, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. As for the PSU, does the Aurora R10 have a standard ATX power supply? It looks like it in pictures I can find online, but Dell loves using proprietary power supplies.

Main PC:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X • Noctua NH-D15 • MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk • 2x8GB G.skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16 • MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3070 OC • Samsung 970 Evo 1TB • Samsung 860 Evo 1TB • Cosair iCUE 465X RGB • Corsair RMx 750W (White)

Peripherals/Other:

ASUS VG27AQ • G PRO K/DA • G502 Hero K/DA • G733 K/DA • G840 K/DA • Oculus Quest 2 • Nintendo Switch (Rev. 2)

Laptop (Dell XPS 13):

Intel Core i7-1195G7 • Intel Iris Xe Graphics • 16GB LPDDR4x 4267MHz • 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD • 13.4" OLED 3.5K InfinityEdge Display (3456x2160, 400nit, touch).

Got any questions about my system or peripherals? Feel free to tag me (@bellabichon) and I'll be happy to give you my two cents.

PSA: Posting a PCPartPicker list with no explanation isn't helpful for first-time builders :)

It might have proprietary has it didn't say any sort of brand on the listing, but I can probably check.

Is there any way to check what power supply I'm using without taking a look inside or will I have to open it up?
