I need like a.. 10 watt dummy PSU for my pump, is there anything I could buy besides like a 200 watt 20$ PSU?

The pump uses molex btw

Whenever I flush/refill or have to fix a tube or something in my loop, using a dummy PSU will make it 5000x easier than ripping my PSU cables out, finding a diagram that tells me which is the green cable+ black one.  ( my psu cables are all one solid color )

Previously I used my hx1050 as a dummy PSU, it made it SOOO much easier, but I'm selling it soon and want some other way of doing the same thing for less $.

Any suggestions? (Try to make it as cheap as possible, this will be used every 6 months, it doesn't need to be 90+ titanium )

If your not doing it regularly just use your existing PSU.

It has nothing to do with whether I'm doing it everyday or every 10 years, if it makes it easier than that's all that matters.

Please don't completely ignore the main point of the OP.

Well it's pretty much a waste if your spending cash just for a pump PSU that's not getting used all that much

But Phobya make a small unit, Dunno about the cost of it though

Phobia make a small external psu specifically for pumps that has a single molex connector

Its a stupid flash website so i cant link you the product directly but if you go to products, then external power supplies you will find it.

You need exactly 10W? USB 3.0 gives around 5W, so you could possibly mod it to feed current to the pump >.<

Go with the CX430 I suggested and get a 24pin premade jumper.

Just get a 12v DC transformer and put a molex connector on it instead of the normal round plug that comes on them.

What would I do from there, snip the wire and crimp in a molex plug?
