Windows hang event on games :(

So my rust has been crashing more and more lately and when it does my whole pc freezes forcing me to shut it down via the power button, When i check the logbook it says ''Application hang 1002 cross thread''. Any help on what the problem is and what the solution is are greatly appreciated! I have a suspicion its the psu thats acting up but we are already planning on upgrading it!

Yeah, my cpu,gpu,mobo and ram is all straight from factory except my gpu but my os harddrive is from another older pc so i suspected that off being not top notch already xd so that might be whats causing a problem right now. Thanks for the info!
