Output a DVI-D Dual Link Signal from a 3070 via a cheap GPU with a DVI-D Output, to connect my monitor which seems to only accept a DVI-D Signal.

I recently acquired a Gigabyte 3070 Gaming OC and sold my old GPU, but I noticed that my Monitor, the Benq Zowie xl2411, has no Displayport and only accepts a 144hz1080p Signal via the DVI-D Dual Link Port, my 3070 on the other hand has only DP and HDMI. As far as i researched it seems to only be possible to get my Monitor to run at 144hz1080p via a costly active adapter. I brought the adapter in question and it works so far with a few errors at 144hz, like colour shifting and occasianal reset to 120hz. Now my question is, is it possible to use a cheap 25 Euro GPU like the one linked below, which has a DVI-D port, and use it to "reroute" the outpout from my 3070 to my Monitor over the DVI-D port of the cheap GPU. Linus did something similar when he used a mining GPU for gaming by rerouting the displayoutput via the port of the Mobo.
Would this work make it possible to use my Monitor with 144hz1080p without the drawbacks of the instable active adapter?
