1 Cpu Thread Seems Dead

Bladed

I'm not sure why it's like this, but under more than normal load on many different programs, this thread just won't go more than 10% while all the others stay up there. It has never been overclocked. Any reason why? Should I reset my whole bios, or update?

(P.S) Don't mind the 7 day up time my pc has to stay on and I still have this problem regardless even if I restart.

Specs:

MOBO: ROG B450-F

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

RAM: 2 x 8 3200mhz.

GPU 1: RX 5700 XT (for gaming)

GPU 2: GTX 1660 (for encoding)

Windows 10 Pro (registered)

That's odd, If a core would be dead I would guess that it's thread would be dead too. Maybe it's just the thread, not the core. It's the first time I've seen a situation like this

Could try updating the bios if you have a older version, also, does it have warranty, so maybe you could swap it out for a new one.

Hmm, what happens if you remove the second gpu? I wonder if maybe one thread is reserved for the streaming shenanigans, though then it should probably work if you actually stream... I know... but it seems a bit sus, so I'd definitely try to remove the 'encoding gpu' *temporarily*
