Best 60% mech keyboard?

KiddoTech

Just curious which board is the best right now in the market. IMO is the Anne pro 2 the best?

IMO stands for "in my opinion", so we can't tell you what you think is best. Also, why are you also asking this question after you got the keyboard?

If you are asking us if we think the AP2 is the best 60% keyboard, then no. You should not expect that from a <$100 keyboard. It is tray mount, it uses plate mount stabilisers, it does not have hot swap sockets, it has north facing switches, it comes with generic doubleshot ABS keycaps, and it has a thin, injection moulded case.

Just quickly going on KBDfans, we find the D60, which is gasket mount, uses PCB mounted stabs, has Kailh hot swap sockets, south facing switches, you choose your own keycaps, and it has a CNC machined aluminium case. If you also include GBs, then you're also bound to find even nicer keyboards.

If you want a prebuilt keyboard, then you have e.g. the Razer Huntsman Mini, which uses better switches, there are many other cheap, 60% tray mount keyboards with hot swap sockets to choose from.

:)

Ok thanks I will take a look of the D60 (The reason I asked is because I used the AP2 for a long time, probably bought it at the release) BTW, should I also consider NK65 /w nk creams?

Personal preference, but the NK65 (guessing Entry Edition?) is a nice budget custom mech, and NK Creams should be decent. The NK65 Entry Edition is currently out of stock, so you might want to consider e.g. the Ikki68 Aurora (GB now) or KBD67 Lite (preorder opening soon-ish) (or I guess also the NK65 Superuser Edition GB).

it's hot swappable ... you can put any switches you want in there ... mine came with kailh box burnt orange but the previous owner changed them ... I think it came with brown but I don't know which brand ...

That keyboard is the exact one I got ...

When you ask for 'The best 60% mech keyboard' then the keycaps alone will exceed 100 €uros.

Apart from that,  the question is what you want to do with it. A very good gaming keyboard is not automatically a good typing keyboard and vice versa.

I prefer linear switches for gaming, but tactile switches for typing. I have identical keyboards at home and in my office, both rigged with vintage Cherry PBT keycaps.

For home use, I prefer black Gaterons (mid heavy linear) and in the office I use holy pandas (tactile).

Since you're using Bluetooth, I'm guessing your focus is not on gaming?
