should i disable?

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

This is normal. Leave it on. Virtual memory frees up your ram from what hasn't been used recently so you can continue to do more things than you could if you didn't have it on.

should i disable virtual memory because it is using my ssd and i went in to samsung magician and it says that 6.10 TB has been written to my 840 pro and im guessing it is because of this. is this normal?

I wouldn't disable it. How much RAM do you have? Also, if you haven't moved your pagefile to your secondary SSD then I suggest you do that. You'll get a pretty noticeable performance boost.

i have 8GB but i might upgrade to 16GB and i will do

Yeah I would upgrade. If you are constantly use Virtual Memory then it basically just means you need more RAM. I'd also make sure that you're OS has TRIM enabled if your Samsung Magicians Software didn't do this already.

Don't disable any Windows features. You are fine.

Your SSD (Samsung 840 Pro, not the EVO) uses MLC synchronous nand. Assuming no manufacture errors, the SSD should last you well over its 5 year warranty (7 to 9 years easy is expected). It is using high end chips and can handle a beating of writes daily. It's the best type, at the consumer level, in terms of reliability, performance, and durability. You pay a premium price for it, for exactly that durability.
