It wont handle 3600mhz, the maximum is 3200mhz.. but you can still use the RAM because it will just clock down to 3200mhz. i'd rather safe money and buy a 3200mhz one though..

Yes, you techincally can. The 3100 shouldn't have a problem with running the sticks at 3600 MT/s.

This is simply false, the IMC is rated for 3200 MT/s, but you can run higher speeds, they're just not techincally guaranteed to be stable. Though 3600 isn't really hard to achieve with a Zen 2  CPU.

Yes it is possible:

GN even overclocked the Infinity Fabric to match 3866MHz RAM kit, but the performance was not a whole lot better and often even worse.

ah yes, you are right, i forgot. You can actually tweak the cpu to run 3600mhz on the ram.. you'd have to be pretty lucky

No, no you absolutely do not, running 3600 MT/s stably on a Zen 2 CPU is a perfectly normal thing and is not shocking and/or difficult to do.

Oh? I found it difficult to clock my ram to 3000mhz on my 3 3100 and it wouldnt even be stable at 2666mhz so i just set it to 2133mhz.. honestly probably because of my poor oc skills but still..

This is an excellent frequency for working memory, the higher the better :)
