title explains it all. im trying to use Imgur if that helps

in the bottom right there is a "More Reply options" button. Click on that and underneath the advanced post editor there should be an "Attach files" button.

Yep. I wasn't sure exactly what it is called. This way you can use whatever size photos you want (greater than 2mb).
