I have several m.2 nVME SSDs (m-key) and the system I want to put them in doesn't have a native m.2 slot.

No biggie, I know a number of PCIe adapter cards are made...

..but most require the PC to support PCIe bifurcation

I know (EDIT: at least I think I know this to be true) some cards have that function built-in on a chip, and are thus more expensive.

I am looking for one of those cards with the chip on the card.

Any suggestions?

HOw many m.2's do you want in the slot?

Here is one from highpoint.

But from the prices of these cards, might just want to buy a faster pcie drive. I got a 3.2tB pm1725 thats pretty fast(6gB/s reads, 1M iops), and cheaper than this card.

Here's one with 2 slots:

https://www.amazon.com/CREST-SI-PEX40129-Ports-Bifurcation-Controller/dp/B07HYZY7P2

And here's one with 4 slots:

https://www.newegg.com/p/17Z-005S-000E1

But I think @Electronics Wizardy's suggestion is best - get a bigger and faster drive and give the ones you want to put in a card to me.

Yeah, the ASM2824 is the key component here that's the chipset that allows this option on an older system.

Found one for ~200$ on eBay

I was looking for 4 m.2 SSDs on 1 card, simply because I already have 2 individual m.2 cards and was looking to combine into one.

But yeah, at that price....

Anyway, thanks gang!
