Does this dell computer have a good cooler? I've seen some awful things about the cooler in it and I'm worried that it'll mess up the system.

If there's any other prebuilts under 1400 with these same kind of specs please let me know! I really don't wanna drop the money on this stuff just to find out that it's garbage.

Thank you!

Edit: Is Alienware good?

hard to say if this cooler is any good because dell usually uses proprietary parts just as you can see with this motherboard.

When you buy this PC you will never be upgrading anything in it beside maybe the RAM because the motherboard and PSU are not build to a standard you could find parts for online.

Alienware is good but keep in mind that Alienware was bought by Dell a few years ago so it could be that they use the same parts.

Well I trust dell, I'm using a dell PC to write this right now! But I've seen some ugly things about the coolers in these prebuilts before. Do alienware PCs have good coolers?

Alienware isnt good for the money.  The cooler is likely a intel stock cooler (to save cost) This should perform better https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RPCG8ZW?tag=758968-20

From memory the XPS uses coolers that'll be just enough to keep things under control. Certainly not as beefy as one would like though. Alienwares are generally fine, but you're paying a FAT premium for those.

Realistically you're just best off getting something like this. Right around the same price and quite a bit nicer.

Are there any prebuilts under 1500 with a 1TB SSD with similar specs?

Dell doesn't have the greatest reputation.

My sister's ass-cheese tier PC from then has been working fine for 3 or 4 years so no real complaints there. From what I recall their support used to blow mega ass, but they're certainly better now.

I laughed way too hard at that message. Thank you though!
