Martussoun

Budget:

Around 22000 CZK

Country: Czech republic

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: cinema 4d(and other 3D programs), games

Other details:

Im not really asking for a build but want to know if its better buying this prebuilt(1600af, 2666MHz ram, 1660S)

 https://www.czc.cz/hal3000-mcr-finale-pro-cerna/279117/produkt?gclid=CjwKCAiAq8f-BRBtEiwAGr3Dge0Ros8V3K6DlZJZmjTDUj6Ruz12rJzWLRHaMp7rzqGhp_Ge_fofgRoCSNQQAvD_BwE

or going for better cpu and ram and use my 1050ti untill theres gpu stock which could be months

The pc is for a friend and Im not really sure if 3d modelling benefits more from a better cpu or gpu

Thanks in advance

I think using the 1050ti for now with a better CPU and more RAM would be better than that prebuilt. Your friend can upgrade the GPU to a 2060 super or similar later after saving up some more money.

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

hello new member welcome to the forum,

anyways im pretty sure that it benefits more from gpu since its 3d but i could be wrong, anyway i would say a prebuilt might be cheaper in czechia, but i recommend building diy pc, does czechina have shortages aswell on gpu's an how much do instock gpu's cost?

Yeah there are basically no gpus available except for 1030 and weaker thats why Im wondering if the 1660S is worth it over waiting, also she wanted to upgrade the prebuilt later to a 5000 ryzen but the mobo is an a320 from what I can tell so Im really not sure which way to go here

I don't know, but the price is better compared to USA.

I select the nearest country to czech in pcpartlist.

Just to show you the estimation of that prebuild, which we don't know what component they use inside.

You most probably getting the cheapest stuff, so they can get higher margins.

Most of the components are old (1-2 years), so you probably can find those on the used market to get a better price.
