There's probably a better place to ask this but is there any way to increase real time rendering in blender or at least avoid crashes from cpu strain? I plan to build a new pc sometime later this year but currently I have to work with a Celeron laptop and 4gb of ram. Rendering in evvee only is an obvious solution but even then I run into problems when I try and do any sort of movement whether it be basic physics simulation (e.g. letting the basic cube fall onto a flat surface) or any sort of animation. If I have any particles I have significant performance drops or crashes or if there are many objects it also slows down. I know that I am extremely limited by my hardware but I would like a little more freedom in at least modeling and creating scenes. I guess what I'm looking for is a rendering optimizer for real time viewing as opposed to actual rendering or what ever it would be called.

Hmm, part of the crashes might be related to RAM overflow. Maybe you can try to increase your RAM and see if it works. I would advise you to go to 16GB if your budget or your system supports it.

I apologies if my comments or post offends you in any way, or if my rage got a little too far. I'll try my best to make my post as non-offensive as much as possible.

Its a laptop with saudered everything so that won't be possible. I don't doubt it's that it could also be the cpu. Even watching a 1080p youtube video pins my cpu and RAM to 100 percent in task manager.

Yeah, maybe there are a few problems, but RAM overflow could be one thing. Check your HDD or SSD usage. If they are constantly running 100% while watching Youtube, then it could mean that RAM swapping is very high.
