Whenever I'm watching youtube on my windows laptop it will randomly give me a white screen with a network error (I'll add a photo if it happens again) for no apparent reason. My Wi-Fi isn't great but it's not the worst and I haven't ever had this problem until a day or two ago. Windows and Chrome are both up to date and besides my phone there arn't any other devices using Wi-Fi.

This suggests that it could be either Chrome installation itself or some addon causing it.

I deleted all my exentions except honey and grammerly and it still does it. I renamed the chrome and Chrome proxy application like it said in the link you added and I'll see if that works.
