I WAS THINKING OF GAMING AND STREAMING IN ONE PC ( No plan overclocking and No plan on upgrading at all )

The GPU RTX 2060 mid life GPU upgrade to a RTX 30 series

I HAVE TWO CHOICES : i7 10700 + Z490 / Ryzen 7 3700x + B550 , both are identical in price.

I'm playing non AAA title , only play Warzone, Valorant , Apex and such things.

I'm using NVENC to stream just need processing power.

Which one is better performer in this situation?

what cooler for 10700? If stock cooler would just get the 3700x since it has a decent stock cooler.

if your budget allows aftermarket cooler, 10700 will be better at gaming and similar to 3700x at workloads.

So with aftermarket cooler: 10700, with stock cooler :3700x.

but those should not be the same price. you should not pay more than 250-275$ for 3700x. also decent b550 board is around 100$

that is pretty poor cooler, but should be fine for 10700 which is not overclockable. also get 3000mhz+ ram. otherwise go for b460 and get 2666mhz ram.

b460 only supports 2133-2666mhz ram while z490 supports all the ram speeds. So no point of getting z490 if not getting atleast 3000mhz ram.

also get 2 sticks and prefer dual rank over single rank ram (channel and rank are different things 🙂 )
