  1. HDDs over 4TB with 720rpm and 256MB cache, from £1 to £200, sorted by price per GB: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/products/internal-hard-drive/#X=100,20000&A=4000000000000,18000000000000&sort=ppgb&C=268435456,4294967296&t=7200&page=1 You may want to set your own country and top price, as you didn't specify. Personally, the 8TB WD Gold looks quite good to me.
  2. You'll need to copy away the data from the RAID array, then format each drive separately, and repopulate. Outside of a RAID setup, and probably outside of that installation, your RAID array will be useless.
  3. Not sure if this is any help - https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/EM/202011/20201127031905001/BN68-11282E-01_QSG_Q60 Q70 TU8000-Simple 43-55inch_WW_ENG_201015.0.pdf (Scroll down to VESA screw spacings)
  4. Probably. The 1650 range would be more than enough. Maybe even a GT 1030, if he's not into 1080p HD vids.
  5. Couldn't find 10600K, but 9600K shows 133fps for R6S - https://www.userbenchmark.com/PCGame/FPS-Estimates-Tom-Clancys-Rainbow-Six-Siege/3859/727265.609611.Max.0.0 Overwatch (again 9600K) 105fps - https://www.userbenchmark.com/PCGame/FPS-Estimates-Overwatch/3789/727265.609611.Max.1080p.0 Apex Legends (single 9600K sample) 85fps - https://www.userbenchmark.com/PCGame/FPS-Estimates-Apex-Legends/4036/727265.609611.Max.1080p.0 The rest had no examples, or the CPUs available were too different. Treat with a pinch of salt, and you might be better off looking at YT
  6. A 9400F might be another option. Not too far from the 10400F in performance.
  7. Last time I tried (B450) there was all manner of USB 3 and UEFI issues iirc. I gave up (damn you MS).
  8. My monitor on my older system every once in a while blips black for 2-3 seconds and I get an interface symbol when the screen comes back. I get the impression it's almost shifting from analogue to digital, or something. It would be a PITA, but for the fact it happens about 6 times a year, and I don't do any gaming on it.
  9. 2060 - 14Ghz mem speed, 192-bit interface width, 336 GB/sec bandwith 1660Ti - 12Ghz mem speed, 192-bit interface width, 288 Gb/sec bandwidth 2060 all the way, short of either being a stop-gap, and the 1660Ti being cheaper.
  10. Is the Adata SX8200 Pro available? https://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Adata-XPG-SX8200-Pro-NVMe-PCIe-M2-1TB-vs-Mushkin-Pilot-NVMe-PCIe-M2-1TB/m638791vsm553623
  11. Could be. The top two statements tend to contradict one another.
  12. From the OP: "I've got the files, just not a blank CD..."
