It has finally come - Seasonic X760 has started seeing the light

Sadly, I had to put old and trusty to rest this week. A faithful companion for nearly 9 years and a reliable partner. She has served me well. 7 video card generations and 3 overhauls.

 

she started to make a squealing sound while idle that would to go away during load. That soon turned into squealing sound under load as well. Sounds she has never made a day in her life. Even when running 3 video cards at one point (670 and 2 970s) and. 3770k @4.5 under full load.
 

Now I have a Seasonic PX-750.  let’s have a another 10 years.

Oh, best part I got it for 160 bucks. Prices came done ^_^

Nice. I have an Antec Earthwatts from 2007 that I retired a year or so ago. Was my brothers. Still works. Some things are built to last.
