My previous one had a Celeron N3060 and 2GB of LPDDR3-1066.

It could barely run Chrome.

Yeah. My parents refused to get me a replacement for mine for a while. Then they had to use it for a day and bought me one with a Core i3-8130u and 8GB of RAM. It is a life changer in school. I don't even have to worry about how many tabs I have open or if it will drop from 100% to dead in 5 minutes.

I barely use mine - instead I use my desktop.

Though the school is rolling out a feature that lets them see what we're doing.

As soon as it's official, I'll just leave it in a corner playing a loop of a rickroll at home.

Hell, your point makes no sense coming from someone who's had quite possibly one of the slowest Chromebooks made. That trash couldn't play 720p video without shitting pants, yet Flash/HTML5 games were no problem. Just sounds like you're bitching for the sake of bitching, really.
