Not sure whether to post it here or in Windows, as it's technically a Windows questions but relates to my Unraid NAS.

I have Unraid running on an old PC which hosts Plex and stores a variety of things. The shares are mapped as network drives on my main rig and the server is set to go to sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity (= no disk writes or no Plex stream going on). It's not that heavily accessed so there's no need for it to be awake all the time.

Right now I wake it up by sending a WOL packet from my phone, but I was wondering if it'd be possible for it to wake up when trying to access the drive from Windows?

Windows doesn't have this natively, but you could make a script to do this fairly easily.Or just make a wake on lan shrtcut

Ah shame. I'll just stick to shortcuts then.
