How to enable Virtualization in MSI B-550M Pro Dash.

When I bought this board I didn't know this board is having old bios Ui. I paired it with Ryzen 5 5600x.
My work is based on emulators but I am not getting that much performance because by default Virtualization is disabled and I am not seeing any option in bios to enable it. Please let me know if somebody knows about this otherwise I've to buy a new one.

Try going to Overclocking > CPU features > SVM Mode > Enable

You can thank MSI for their stupid naming ;)

This… does not look quite like I expected. Why do you have a text mode BIOS instead of UEFI. It should look a little like the video at this timestamp:

https://youtu.be/RoZFgtJoGpk?t=98

Can you see the BIOS version/date anywhere? I suspect it might require an update (Go to: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B550M-PRO-DASH)

If you go to "Boot", does it have a "Boot Mode" and what is it set to?

@Eigenvektor

The BIOS in your screenshot above has a release date of 2020-12-30, while the latest BIOS on MSI's site is from 2020-12-25. The version shown in your BIOS screenshots on the other hand is 2.20.1276, based on MSI it should be "7C95v34".

Where did you get the info above? Something makes me suspect you have an older generic BIOS version and not the one from MSI, but I don't know for certain.

I've searched some more, and it looks like on some motherboards the graphical UI was sacrificed in order to be able to support more CPU models. I haven't been able to find out how to enable AMD SVM in the text-only BIOS :/

I found another thread mentioning an "OC Explore Mode" that needs to be set to Expert to make the option visible, but I can't see that one in any of your screenshots either. So I don't really know how to get it enabled.

This is mentioned in your motherboard manual

Press Delete key, when the Press DEL key to enter Setup Menu,

F11 to enter Boot Menu message appears on the screen during the boot process.

Function key

F1: General Help list

F4: Enter CPU Specifications menu

F5: Enter Memory-Z menu

F6: Load optimized defaults

F10: Save Change and Reset*

check in cpu specific menu

mainly in b550 msi motherboard option is this :

Then go to overclocking -> Advanced CPU configuration - > svm mode-enable / disable.
