If you are turning things on and the wi-fi is going away, that indicates a poor signal to noise ratio.

1. How far away are you from the router?

I believe that you have something new in the house that may be making some noise.

One way to troubleshoot is to turn off all circuit breakers that are not important to your router and cable modem. Then, turn them on one at a time to see which circuit (might) be creating the issue. Look for switiching power supplies and led lights

on that circuit and unplug and unscrew the lights.

Doorbell cameras are something to look at as well.

All the wifi in the ENTIRE house just crashes. On the router it says that there is internet. I dont remember anything new that makes noise.  I believe that there is a light/camera for our neighbors that turns on by motion(the light turns on by motion idk if the camera does). I would try the circuit breakers thing but its very hard since it happens randomly sometimes 2-4 times a day sometimes 2 times a week

I could switch channels but accord to a wifi analyzer there isnt really alot of networks (5 including me) at once. Most of the times its 2-3. It changes by me walking around the house lol. If u want i can send screenshots.

2.4 Ghz isn't just used by WiFi. Other devices use it as well. Just like part of the 5Ghz spectrum is used by Radar. These are things that WiFi analyzer wont show you. To be honest, I wouldn't touch 2.4Ghz with a 30 foot pole if 5Gzh was available.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

If the router supports 5Ghz that’s all you need. Your ISP has nothing to do with what bands you can use, that’s all dictated by the equipment you use.

Check the WiFi settings in the router's firmware. As far as two separate networks go, it depends on the router. My sister has the Google WIFi mesh system, and you cant separate out the networks. However on my router, I have 2 separate networks, I just added the band to the end of the SSID. So I have Donut2.4 and Donut5Ghz, that way I know what network Im connecting to.

You could try to elimate the ups, and see what happens, can't hurt at this point.

UPS won't cause an issue. I have my router on a UPS. Works fine.

Yeah i will try to remove the ups but just now like 10 seconds ago i unplugged my ipad from my charger which is like 1 meter  under the router and the wifi cut out for 2 mins. Also what about the ss i sent? Ill try changing the channel to like 11 or 12

His UPS could be raising the noise floor. I do agree that it might not be the issue, but isolation is what we are looking for.

We want to make sure we can find the issue, as I think it might be in the house. I could be wrong as well, but it is a start.

I still believe that you have a noise floor issue. Isolating the circuit the noise is coming from will be a step forward.

Again, I could be wrong, but it is the next logical step.

I dont understand how sound would interfer with wifi
