FPS drops when unplugging and plugging back in controller

This issue is not mine, but of someone I know. While playing Rocket League, their controller will sometimes randomly disconnect and plug back in again. When this happens, the frames will also tank and drop from 250 to 60 and then climb back up in the next 5-10 seconds. He has disabled all audio devices and updated drivers. This happens while streaming. Sometimes when disconnecting from USB ports the PC will freeze. When this happens RL will not send any CPU usage to RL. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

PC

That is because of the priority set on your CPU (or overall system, but mostly CPU). To resolve this issue, i think that all he needs to do is to go into Task Manager - find Rocket League - Right click on it and Go to details - Right click on Rocket League .exe app in the Details tab - Set priority to High.

If this doesn't help come back to me.

@Bank0The problem with changing the priority settings is you have to change it every time you open the program. To keep what you changed, you'll need a program called Process Lasso.
