Hardware changes and windows 10..?

Go to solution Solved by Mister Woof,

If you get the hardware change activation issue, you can call Microsoft and hope they activate you.

Otherwise, you can tie your key to your microsoft account instead, then it shouldn't matter.

well the reason to reinstall the OS now is due to the old boards drivers not being fully removed when the new boards drivers get installed thus creating problems. So you should reinstall regardless. SOMETIMES you can get away without having to do it if you dont encounter any issues.

Figured that would still be an issue.

Just mostly would about my key not working.

No problems for me, but there could be other factors that could make reinstalling windows the better way to go.

Make sure you write down and link your key to your Microsoft account, this will help if you have trouble.

In my case windows detected the new hardware and made the necessary changes.
