3090 baking hot ram

Hello all,

I just got the new version of HWInfo and found that the memory on my card is averaging around 98c during gaming. 

This is nuts. This is on the founders edition.

I am planning on getting the EKWB block for it which will soak back plate heat as well.

Is there anything that can be done to bring that down a bit? Seems way to high to me.

And yes, this is at stock temps.

the memory chips get quite hot on the 3080/3090, especially moreso on the 3090 with more then double the memory chips

Oh that whine is horrible. My doesn't have any coil whine I can hear. At least not over the fans. Just the ram chips getting hot af.
