Need help with 5800x Ryzen undervolting and BIOS settings

Hello everyone, just bought 5800x and it's a beast! Problem is that it overheats too much for my liking, so I have tried to undervolt it from Ryzen master and it seems to be stable at 4.4Ghz with -0.1v. This works great in demanding games as well and temperature is acceptable.

Problem is that these settings are not persistent.

What would I need to change in ASUS BIOS to get these same results?

- Variable clock speed up to 4.4Ghz
- CPU voltage up to 1.05V

I have Crosshair VII x470 motherboard.

I haven't done this before and seems better to ask than to mess something up.

what temps did it hit before you undervolted it?

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.

It was going up to 80 when I played games on stock clock of 3.8Ghz. Jumps straight away to 74 and then slowly rises.

With this undervolt it was hitting 65C max.

It was getting on my nerves that water cooler was audible even when it was idle.

Give this a watch and see if it helps.
