is it correct that it has one cpu 4pin fan header and 2 4pin system fan headers.

that is correct

Which means i can only have 2 case fans actively spinning?

you can attach a fan splitter to the header(s) to allow for more fans to be connected.

usually fan headers are rated for up to 1A, so do check the fans you connect don't exceed the max ampere.

Keep in mind the H500 doesn't have amazing airflow, although it depends on what you put in the case.

Hello people.

i wanted to make sure i was reading the spec sheet of my motherboard correctly.

https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/B450M-GAMING-PLUS/Specification

Here's the spec sheet for my motherboard, is it correct that it has one cpu 4pin fan header and 2 4pin system fan headers.

Which means i can only have 2 case fans actively spinning?

because with my current case NZXT H500 i realaize that if that's the case then i should probably change the location of the fans since i would have one on the top rear of the case sucking in air and one on the rear next to the motherboard ports blowing air out (which seems quite stupid to have air sucked in at the top back end of the case only for it to be blown out right after)

so if i have a fan splitter on the header, and i buy these fans from corsair (chosen at random) that has a 0.30A powerdraw, i could have 3 of those fans plugged into one header, correct?

alright thanks a lot 🙂

think i'll end up finding one of those fan splitters and adding two to the front of the case and doing a 180 on the top fan so it's an exhaust instead of an intake, since there's no dustfilter either it would probably be better to have it blow air out
