Ok. One thing that came to mind is have to tried to reseat the RAM stick? Also, did you swap them and see if the issue is still present when moved into a different RAM channel?

I’m building my new PC and I tested to see if everything lit up and one of my ram sticks won’t light up. What’s wrong?

Note: this is an MSI B550 mobo that’s going to be paired with a 5600x when it arrives

When you can, check to make sure the RAM's RGB firmware is up to date if G.Skill has their own RGB lighting software. A similar situation happened to me with Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM modules and iCUE updated the firmware and fixed itself.

Also, check to make sure there is nothing putting pressure on the RAM stick.
