Glenn Hinton and Intel

So I was watching WAN Show just now and heard that Glenn Hinton returns to Intel. How long do you people think it will take for him to affect the company? It will surely take a year or two for him to affect intel cpu's, right?

The CPU dev cycle is much more then that, so expect at least 5-6 years.
