PSU Sufficient or Not?

Hi Guys,

 

I am new to the site, hope this is in the right section.....

 

Recently upgraded my pc, and its working smoothly. However, i want to add another HD6950 Graphics Card in Crossfire but i am not sure if my PSU will handle the extra power demand?

 

Specifications

 

PSU- SilverStone SST-ST60F

CPU- Intel i5 4670K

Cpu Cooler- Akasa Venom (1 Fan)

GPU- Sapphire HD6950 2Gig (Dirt 3 Edition)

RAM- Corsair Vengeance 2 x 4Gig DDR3 1600Mhz

Motherboard- MSI Z87 GD65

Hard drive- Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1TB 7200 RPM

Keyboard- Logitech G110

Mouse- Asus ROG GX900

System Fans- 2 x 200mm

those cards are about 140 watts each - so 2 is 280

 

yeah should easily be enough

It might work in crossfire setup but it is recommended to have at least a quality 750W PSU

4670k Max TDP= 84W 
 
HD6950 Max TDP= 200W x2= 400W

 

extra 10%

 

Total= 532Watt

 

 

Something that is around 600W to should be a good setup.

I think that psu is 80+ silver if I know correctly, and I would expect it to handle about 10-20watts more than 600watts at its limit.  But it should be fine, it just means the fans might ramp up a bit.

It should be fine, but, are you overclocking the graphics cards or the CPU?
