Quoting replies with quotes

i understand why user's quotes are removed when you quote them

but can this quote remain?

Quote

blablabla relevant information

as it's usually quote from an external source, rather than a reply, and it adds context to the user's quote

 

the way to include the quote is to highlight and quote, instead of using the button, which is hard to do in mobile

This isn't something that we can really control (it would need to be an IPS change). I will suggest it to IPS, but the chances are that they won't change it. You can work around it using the quote this functionality instead though.
