So, would the duel channel run faster with 1and3 or 2and4 or would there no noticeable difference?

Should be no difference. If you're manually overclocking to the max, there might be a slight difference in theory.

If your Motherboard is an MSI. It is preferred to use the 2nd & 4th slots for dual channel..

Not just MSI, most consumer dual channel mobos with 4 slots recommend using 2 + 4.

Hi, unfortunately I don’t have enough clearance with my AIO (as its pipe in and out covers the 1st channel) and was wondering if keeping the RAM in the 2nd and 4th channel would make much of a difference? I’ve heard that it’s not recommended but was wondering if it would make much of a difference in speed. Thanks.

If you count starting nearest the CPU socket, using slots 2 + 4 are normally recommended for dual channel mode. I've not done extensive testing but there doesn't seem to be any noticeable difference as long as you use one module in each channel to keep dual channel mode.

Slots 1+2 are one channel, 3+4 are the other channel.
