Worth it to go with lower CAS latency?

fmt1

Is it worth it going for memory with CL 16 vs CL 18? The cost difference is ~$35

The build I am planning on putting together:

PCPartPicker Part List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7ppmQD

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor  ($300.00)
Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING B550-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($155.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory  ($177.99 @ Newegg)

OR           G.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory  ($144.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 970 Evo 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive  ($139.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB XC3 BLACK GAMING Video Card  ($560.00)
Case: Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower Case  ($99.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: SeaSonic FOCUS 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply  ($104.99 @ B&H)

Is there a particular reason you want 32GB of RAM?

ur better off with 4x8 vs 2x16, for a 1500usd build, the efficiency of buying cl16 is decent, so it's ur call.
