does windows server need an antivirus?

I'm running a Windows 2016 server as a file and maybe a media server one day. My question is, do I need to have a an antivirus program installed or would windows defender be enough protection for it? I have Norton 360 on it right now (they gave me an extra key when they upgraded me).

I'm thinking that windows defender should be enough but I just want some other opinions to make sure I have everything first.

Windows defentder is normally plenty.

But security is much more than a antivirus, Make sure your doing everything else good for security, like patching, minimal access, 2fa/good passwords, disabling un needed servcies and programs.
