Connect 2 GPUs with DVI

I removed my DVI cable (switched to dual HDMI for my monitors so it defaults to Windows) and had a thought:
What happens if I connect my 2 GTX 650 Ti Boosts with a DVI-D Dual-link cable?
Thought I'd ask before I find out and break something.

Nothing. Those are outputs, not any sort of inputs.
