Latest NVIDIA Drivers nerf GTX 970 - Legacy driver fix

Hi all, 

 

I am sure this isn't the first time this has happened. I updated to the latest Nvidia drivers this week and instantly noticed a decrease in performance.

 

My screen was noticeably blurry and went from getting 150+ fps to barely getting 30. 

 

I googled around and tried out these older legacy drivers and it fixed the issues: https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/96079/en-us

 

If you have a 970 you might want to try this out.

I am not sure if installing drivers from 6 years ago is the fix you are looking for. I havent seen anyone else having this issue after the latest driver update, I too have a GTX970 and havent had issues.

You make a good point. Its just the first thing I tried. It may well be something else
