NZXT Kraken G10 in Corsair 250D

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

No. The Kraken G10 would make the card 2.5 expansion slots wide.

Could it work, or would it not fit? I have a GTX 770 that I want better cooling for and it seems like the best choice, but knowing compatibility is half the battle.

i am not an expert on water cooling but i know the 250D can fit a H100i so wouldnt that mean that it could fit like an H90 for the gpu

Christian and Proud of it

As far as I can tell from Corsair's video (0:38), you can fit the G10 onto the GPU but you need to make sure the waterblock doesn't extend out a lot.

Well depending on the AIO you use the 250D and support 120mm x2 and 140mm so either a H75/H90. There are others that are supported.

You might be able to get the cooler to fit on one of the side panel 120mm fans spots, or even a 240mm cooler, or i 140mm i believe it is on the front of the case, but that's a longer stretch

Yes it works, I added a G10 with H75 cooler to my 780 ti in my 250D, which already had an H100i for CPU.

The H75 (with push pull 120mm fans) sits where the front case fan would be, and the hoses had to be routed over the top of the video card (instead of through the G10 bracket) and the pump/block is mounted 90 deg counter clockwise from how it would normally sit, to accomodate the alternate routing.

Yes, it's tight, but it all fits and temps are cool.
