EVA Foam over carpet to prevent ESD

Moving into a new place where it's all carpet and purchased those tiles that is used as a gym/exercise floor, made of something called EVA foam. Would this be safe to place over top of carpet and would this be a much safer option to build a pc on to avoid any build up of ESD?

Just build it where you have tile or wood or linoleum

making things more complicated than they need to be

if you’re super concerned about static on carpet, get a tweed door mat and stand on that instead

My plan was to use the EVA Foam to place my pc on as well as to kneel on while building/modifying my build. Of course, as many people suggest, I'd constantly ground myself to prevent any ESD from transferring onto my build, but I thought it'd be a good precaution to use the EVA Foam tiles to prevent as much ESD buildup as possible. My main concern is if it is as effective as rubber or if there is something I'm missing in terms of the conductivity with EVA Foam (Sorry if this is confusing). Also nowhere close to build my computer where there's no carpet unless I plan to walk long distances.
